90th Sustainment Brigade cases colors, heads home.

The 90th Sustainment Brigade, 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) held a casing ceremony Feb. 19 outside the brigade headquarters building, to retire the brigade's colors for its re-deployment from Iraq.

Soldiers and Families Gobble Up 2,000 Free Steaks

More than a thousand Soldiers and Family members from the 4th Sustainment Brigade, 1st Medical Brigade, and 13th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) flocked to the Freeman Dining Facility Mar. 3 for an event dubbed "Community Strong," where Fort Hood troops and families enjoyed freshly grilled steaks and fixings for a special lunch break.

Board Changes Member Rates

During the Mar-Apr Executive Committee meetings the board debated membership rates. In a unanimous decision individual membership was split in to two, a FREE Basic member, and a one-time payment for Life Membership.

Along with this change, Corporate membership changed from a bi-annual term to an annual term. Both of these changes should allow for growth in the Association that has not been possible. Stay tuned to the website for a full report.

Corporate Sponsors Thanked

The Executive Committee brought together a number of recent sponsors and thanked them for their donations. The evening was sponsored and hosted by Wildflower in Temple, and a number of Corporate donations were made or acknowledged..
