About the 13th COSCOM Association
The
purpose of the 13th COSCOM Association is to represent past,
present, and future members of the 13th Sustainment Command
(Expeditionary), 13th Corps Support Command (COSCOM) and the
13th Support Brigade, and friends of those units,
while building espirit of all members. The organization shall
contribute to the advancement and improvement of the quality of
life for members of the serviced organization.Our Goals
Our goals are currently under review by the Executive
Committee and their Committee chairpersons. Our past goals
were as follows
Support the Soldiers and Families of the 13th ESC
Our
purpose is to improve the quality of life of the Soldiers
and their Families of the 13th ESC within the limits of our
resources.
Maintain a Tribute to the 13th ESC Fallen
The
design is a marquee that includes a monument, a wall of
honor inscribed with the names of their fallen, a
walkwaytribute constructed of engraved bricks, and a
meditation area.
Help Educate the 13th ESC Family
Veterans organizations like the 13th COSCOM Association
offer Scholarships or Grants to help cover education
expenses to select soldiers, spouses and their families
Record the History of the 13th ESC
A a major goal we strive to preserve, interpret and
disseminate the story, history and records of the 13th
Sustainment Command and it's veterans.
Be the 13th ESC Veteran Connection
Forming
a network of resources for 13th ESC veterans and their
families, while serving as an advocate for those who have
preceeded them all.Link the 13th ESC to the local Community
Fulfill
our objective of developing a foundation of understanding
between veterans and those influencers or non-veterans
within the surrounding communities
Why you Should Join
To preserve and strengthen friendships through meetings, our
annual reunion, and other Association activities that support
the 13th ESC. Also, to stay up-to-date via our eNewsletter and
member alerts. To meet new people and develop friendships
through Association activities; to obtain tangible evidence of
membership in this great Association, i.e., commemorative coin
and membership card. You are also eligible to help special
projects such as the Scholarship Committee and Memorial Drive.
